Let us say the south secedes and whites head south and blacks head north as the Armstrong postulates. In the US 19th century civil war, the main problem was the south wanted to buy British manufactured goods which were cheaper than those manufactured in the north that were protected by tariffs. Britain supported the south as their exports had economies of scale so their manufactured products were cheaper that were being tariffed out.
The south was agrarian and its low cost labor (black slaves) was a source of cheaper agrarian products than around the world. The purpose
of Lincoln’s “Emancipation Proclamation” during the Civil War was to undermine the southern economy which supported the war as most of the white men were in the southern army and the labor was performed by black slaves. Lincoln had no love for blacks and wanted them sent back
to Africa after the war but he wanted to undermine the southern war economy. This is not dissimilar to the Kaiser in Germany authorizing the
Bolshevik Revolution in Russia to undermine his opponent. This was handled by Parvus an agent of Baron Eduard de Rothschild. The Baron had initiated World War One by the assassination of the Archduke Ferdinand in order to destroy the Tsar as is explained in John Buchan’s novel “The Thirty-Nine Steps”. John Buchan was the former Secretary to Lord Milner a Rothschild stooge. The Baron had also financed the Japanese War against Russia in 1904 and used Parvus in 1905 in a failed attempt to overthrow the Tsar. This new one worked though it cost 9 million lives. When the Danzig crisis took place, Germany wanted this 99% German city back. Germany was trying to return to their country the Germans severed from Germany by the infamous Treaty of Versailles. (See John Maynard Keynes “The Economic Consequences of Peace” describing that disreputable document called the Treaty of Versailles.) Baron Eduard forced England to guarantee Poland to destroy Germany which cost 90 million more people.
Prince Otto von Bismarck said the Rothschilds had their hand in the Civil War.
“The division of the United States into two
federations of equal force was decided long before the Civil War by the high
financial power of Europe. These Bankers were afraid that the United States, if
they remained in one block & as one Nation, would attain economical &
financial independence, which would upset their financial domination over the
world. The voices of the Rothschilds dominated. They foresaw the tremendous
booty If they could substitute two feeble democracies, indebted to the
Financiers. Therefore they started their emissaries in order to exploit the
question of slavery & thus dig an abyss between the two parts of the
Republic.” Otto von Bismarck, 1876.
Otto von Bismarck underestimated the Rothschilds
as they gained control of the US through their banking proxies such as J. P.
Morgan, Kuhn Loeb, Lehman Brothers, etc. Jacob Schiff ran Kuhn Loeb.
What was perhaps Schiff’s most famous financial
action was during the
Russo-Japanese War, in 1904 and 1905. Schiff met
Takahashi Korekiyo, deputy governor of the
Bank of Japan, in Paris in April 1904 at the office of his superior Baron Eduard de Rothschild. He subsequently extended loans to the
Empire of Japan in the amount of $200 million (equivalent to $20 billion in 2019), through Kuhn, Loeb & Co. These loans were the first major flotation of Japanese bonds on
Wall Street, and provided approximately half the funds needed for Japan’s war effort.
If the US breaks up into a Civil War as Dalio predicts, the question is where will the US nukes end up and will the south be able to obtain nuclear missiles.
If not from US bases using southern personnel from the southerners in the US Army to man them, then they could buy them from North Korea. The point that I am making is that in a Civil War in the US the use of conventional weapons in the US Civil War favored the north as it could manufacture its own weapons and the south had a hard time importing them as there was a Union blockade of southern ports. The south was in a hopeless situation outgunned and outmanned. Now, the south could obtain weapons of mass destruction that could ensure a stalemate. They could be brought in by submarine.
When we look at the stresses that the Soviet Union was under in 1991, and the US today, there are similarities as almost no one believes in the US
that the system is working anymore as they felt in Russia. The Russian people believed in Stalin as he made Russia the strongest power in the world but they did not believe in Gorbachev. Almost no one has a good thing to say about Biden. The controlled media in the US is as in the Soviet Union completely separated from the people whom they hate as a basket of deplorables to quote Hilary Clinton. The reins of the US are controlled by the Trotskyite financiers who are having a fiat money heyday on Wall St. that reminds us of Weimar Germany. The dollars a gushing out of their pockets though their doom is approaching. Ray Dalio may be right.
